My path towards my own law office was not a straight one at all.

I grew up on a farm. When I was a child, I played with animals and later spent my summers by weighing flatbed trucks with barley.

I have never dreamt of becoming an attorney. I have never watched American shows in courtrooms or dreamt of an expensive costume and a luxurious office. I only applied to law school because people around me kept saying that “graduating from law school was a good basis for anything”.

I passed the law school entrance exam easily, and I went through law school with the same ease (Mgr.), including a one-year stay at the University of Sheffield in Great Brittain, and the following rigorous proceedings for the purpose of acquiring the doctoral degree (JUDr.). However, I did not get excited about law during my studies.

During my studies, I worked as an intern at the public prosecutor’s office and at several law offices. After graduating from law school, I worked as a judge´s assistant for a year, and then I joined a non-profit organization helping the victims of human trafficking and labour exploitation.

Prior to passing the bar examination, I worked as a paralegal at a law office providing legal services particularly in the fields of the public sector. My clients included ministries, local governments, entrepreneurs and individuals.

Besides my legal work, I also led a class of students to their successful graduation in the subject of social sciences.

I was successful at my work, both clients and employers were satisfied. However, I was still lacking the real enthusiasm, excitement, joy.

This all changed when I passed the bar examination and joined a large law office providing a wide range of legal services where I practiced pretty much every legal field. That is where I realized that the legal practice does not only consist of a boring analysis of legislation, although I naturally cannot proceed without this part.

I realized that the legal practice introduces various human life stories to me. Each story and each storyteller vary. They also wish for various conclusions of their stories. It is then my task to write new chapters with you in order that you reach the desired conclusions.

This is the role that makes me feel good, I enjoy it, and it gives me purpose.

And because the stories are best written directly, personally and individually, I established my own law office in 2023.

I provide legal services for both happy and sad stories, one-time and long-term stories, personal and work-related stories. I am here for you when you purchase an apartment or when you deal with inheritance, I shall represent you in criminal proceedings or when changes to the child custody arrangements occur, I shall assist you in disputes with your neighbour, employer or business partner.

I am looking forward to standing by your side while you write your life story, whatever it may turn out to be. I shall do my best to protect your rights and interests in the chapters we write together.
